And for Christians, it is a time to celebrate what is most important: the birth of Jesus Christ. The purpose of our holiday is Christ, and Jesus made his purpose clear to us – He sacrificed his life so we may live. http://mycharitywater.org/sharedmission - Through our fundraising page here at charity:water, 100% of all funds raised go directly to the work on the ground. And when the projects are finished (in about 18 months), charity:water will show us the communities we've helped.
PRAY: "For where two or three come together in My name, there am I with them" (Matthew 18:20 NIV). FAST: Christ already made the real sacrifice for us. We don’t need to do this — we do it to proclaim what God has already done for us. Drink only water then set aside the money you would have otherwise spent on beverages. GIVE: Use all that money you set aside during your fast to provide safe drinking water to the thirsty. |

Jesus said ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ (Matthew 25:40 NIV)
